Notes Baba is an online education and exam-preparation platform offering study notes, previous year questions (PYQs), test series, AI-powered learning tools, subscriptions and related digital services. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit or use Notes Baba.

Depending on how you use the platform, we may receive account information such as your name, email address, phone number, login details and profile information; transaction and subscription information; learning activity such as resources viewed, tests attempted and progress; information you submit to AI tools; seller or buyer information for marketplace-style note transactions; and technical information such as IP address, browser, device, operating system, approximate location derived from technical data, logs and cookie identifiers.

We may use information to create and secure accounts, provide study materials and digital services, process subscriptions and payments, deliver purchased content, operate AI features, personalize learning experiences, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot technical problems, communicate service or billing updates, improve products and understand aggregate usage trends, and comply with legal obligations.

When you use an AI feature, the text, images, questions, answers or other information you submit may be processed by Notes Baba and its technology providers to generate a response and operate the requested feature. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, highly sensitive personal information or confidential information unless the feature specifically requires it.

Payment transactions are handled through Razorpay, the payment provider made available at checkout. Notes Baba generally receives transaction status and relevant payment metadata rather than storing complete card or banking credentials. The payment provider's own privacy terms may also apply.

Notes Baba may use cookies, local storage, analytics and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, performance and measurement. See the Cookie Policy for more information.

We may share information with service providers that help operate hosting, authentication, analytics, AI processing, payment processing, email or communications, security and customer support. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition. We do not intend to sell personal information as a standalone product.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their passwords and devices.

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, service delivery, security, dispute handling, accounting, legal compliance and legitimate business records. Retention periods may vary by data type and applicable law.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or other handling of your personal information, and to withdraw certain permissions or marketing preferences. Requests may be subject to identity verification and legal exceptions.

Notes Baba serves school, college and competitive-exam learners. Where a user is a minor, use of the service should be consistent with applicable law and, where required, parent or guardian involvement. We do not knowingly request unnecessary sensitive information from children.

We may update this policy when our services, technology or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with its effective date.

Notes Baba processes personal information in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules framed under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, to the extent applicable. Where processing is based on your consent, you give that consent by creating an account, submitting information or using the relevant feature after reading this policy.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to notesbaba15@gmail.com. Withdrawal will not affect processing already carried out before withdrawal, and some features may no longer be available to you once consent is withdrawn.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, a "child" means a person who has not completed eighteen years of age. Where required by law, Notes Baba will seek the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian before processing a child's personal data, and does not knowingly undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.

Any complaint, concern or request relating to your personal data may be sent to our Grievance Officer, Aaryan Goswami, at notesbaba15@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and to resolve them within 30 days, or within any shorter period required by applicable law.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India or any other competent authority, as permitted by applicable law, after exhausting the grievance-redressal mechanism provided by Notes Baba.
