Selling & Buying Notes Policy
Rules for users who sell, upload or purchase educational notes through Notes Baba.
Scope
Where Notes Baba enables users or contributors to offer educational notes for sale, this policy applies to the seller and buyer activities associated with those listings.
Seller Ownership and Permission
A seller must own the material or have all permissions, licences and authority necessary to sell or distribute it. Do not upload textbooks, coaching material, copyrighted PDFs, leaked papers, paid courses or other third-party content without authorization.
Accuracy of Listings
Sellers must accurately describe the subject, exam, class, format, pages, language, coverage and condition of digital content. Misleading titles, copied previews or false claims are prohibited.
Prohibited Content
Do not sell leaked examination papers, answer keys obtained unlawfully, stolen material, pirated books, impersonation content, malware, personal-data dumps or material that violates law or third-party rights.
Buyer Licence
Unless otherwise stated, a buyer receives a limited, personal educational licence to use the purchased resource. Purchase does not transfer copyright ownership.
No Buyer Redistribution
Buyers may not resell, publicly share, upload or redistribute purchased material unless the licence expressly permits it.
Platform Review
Notes Baba may review, restrict, remove or suspend listings or accounts where content appears unlawful, infringing, misleading, unsafe or inconsistent with this policy.
Complaints and Takedowns
Rights holders and users may report suspected infringement, fraud or misleading listings with enough evidence for investigation.
Seller Payments
Where seller payouts are supported, payout eligibility, fees, settlement timing, verification and applicable deductions will be governed by the relevant seller terms shown on the platform.
Seller Representations and Indemnity
By listing content, a seller confirms that the content is original or lawfully licensed, that its sale does not violate any law or third-party right, and agrees to indemnify Notes Baba against any claim arising from the listed content.
Taxes
Sellers are responsible for their own tax compliance. Notes Baba may deduct or collect taxes such as TDS or TCS where required by applicable law, and may request PAN, bank and other verification details before releasing payouts.
Buyer-Seller Disputes
Notes Baba may assist in resolving disputes between buyers and sellers, but is not the author of seller content. Decisions taken by Notes Baba on listings, refunds or payouts in such disputes are subject to these policies and applicable law.
Official Email Communication & Anti-Phishing Notice
Notes Baba sends emails ONLY from the following official email addresses:

Any email claiming to come from Notes Baba, its owner, staff or support team that is sent from any other email address, domain or look-alike address is NOT from Notes Baba and must be treated as unauthorised and potentially fraudulent. Notes Baba will never ask you by email for your password, OTP, CVV, card PIN, UPI PIN or full card details, and will never ask you to pay into a personal bank account or personal UPI ID.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Notes Baba and its owner shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, fraud, financial loss, data compromise, or any legal or other consequence of any kind arising from any email or communication received from any email address other than the official addresses listed above, or from any action taken in reliance on such communication.
If you receive a suspicious email in the name of Notes Baba, do not click its links, open its attachments or share any information. Please report it to notesbaba15@gmail.com.
Contact & Grievance Redressal
For a complaint, include your registered email, order/transaction reference where applicable, and a clear description of the issue. Please do not send passwords, OTPs, CVVs or full payment-card details by email. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.
